You live the operating principles and follow the guidelines of making impact now and thinking long-term in your daily work.Sr. Knowledge Engineer will also be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the data assets to support the transactional operations and the massive data processing (Big Data) to support use cases in Roche Diagnostics. He/she will be in charge of improving and auditing the data architecture, carrying out data governance functions, so that FAIR and data quality standards are ensured.**Job Purpose:*** You will be responsible for the interoperability enablement of RIS product portfolio by reusing, designing, implementing and maintaining data models (e.g. One Roche Data Model). You will ensure that these data models are aligned with the health data standards and policies defined.* You will make sure robust data models and data access are available, and the information is correctly stored to enable the clinical and diagnostic use cases across RIS product portfolio on the data platform.* You will design and develop domain data models based on the HL7 FHIR interoperability standard.* You will work with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, System Architects, Product Owners, Product Managers and guide them with their data needs and requirements.**Tasks & Responsibilities:*** Collaborate with various product teams to shape the development and integration of data models and standardization into the RIS product portfolio and enable FAIR data services. For example, design and model the One Roche Data Model for the data assets at conceptual and logical level, supporting the use cases.* Collaborate with engineering and business teams and co-drive projects to implement interoperability standards for Roche devices and digital products adhering to FAIR principles.* Support the design, implementation and evolution of the Roche Diabetes Care Platform Data Stores (physical data model) to ensure that all products are aligned with logical data models and coding standards. Work in cooperation with the system architect and development team members.* Investigate innovative methods to generate new business insights from interlinked data sources (lab and clinical) that may mature into new features of RIS digital products.* Drive the adoption and integration of interoperability standards including terminological resources (e.g. FHIR, HL7v2, LOINC, SNOMED) for RIS digital products.* Engage with internal key customers and stakeholders to understand their business needs, pain points using a customer-centric approach.* Co-create robust solutions starting out from prototypes and MVPs.* Drive automation of data and software services to achieve continuous delivery e.g. by setting up code repositories, automation pipelines, quality assurance, etc.* Supports and collaborates in the definition of the mapping to transform the data model into clinical interfaces, choosing the proper clinical standard and terminology to use.* Maintains the data catalog well documented, updated and accessible for the different stakeholders.* Defines the data quality processes & rules, data quality metrics and ensures quality is met* Deliver effective training and communication on the data standards to multiple levels of stakeholders.**Key skills and Experience:**Required:* BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math or other quantitative field.* 5+ years relevant experience* 2+ years of proven experience in data modeling, data architecting and databases storage design.* Experience in HL7 / HL7 FHIR mandatory.* Experience working with GitLab, JIRA and Confluence* Experience in IOT, Data platforms and Data Hubs.* Experience and good knowledge in web services architecture* Experience managing globally distributed teams and 3rd party relationships* Good understanding of SCRUM methodology* Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment* Independent judgment and decision-making ability* Good communication skills and excellent team collaboration* Fluent in English (required)**Preferred:*** Experience in Amazon Web Services or Cloud technologies* Experience generating implementation guides for developers, clients and customers.* Experience in micro services, integration, cloud and bigdata architectures, especially on AWS.* Experience codifying clinical concepts with clinical terminologies (SNOMED CT, LOINC, UCUM, ICD9, ICD10).* Experience modelling healthcare interfaces using standards (HL7 v2.x, HL7 FHIR, DICOM).* DAMABook certification ### Quem nós somosUm futuro mais saudável nos leva a inovar.
