The Role Of The Delivery Excellence Manager

- Manages and leads relationships with the SSO and key stakeholders across multiple end-to-end service scopes. This includes supporting the dsm-Firmenich SSO in expanding its scope and enhancing performance, while effectively managing demand within the procurement organization.

Main Responsibilities Include

- Independently leads several processes E2E centralization, ensuring the service scope is integrated as per the project plan (on time, on budget and on quality) and according to the Delivery Excellence standards.
- Leads to the process design/ improvement. Validates the process solution.
- Drives the procurement SSO demand pipeline management for specific service scope E2E, evaluates, and prioritizes as per business needs.
- Define process performance metrics and supports implementation. Monitors operational performance.
- Contributes to validate the process documentation and process maps as per taxonomy and documentation standards.
- Ensure continuous dialogue with process stakeholders, business functions and SSO functional owners.
- The Delivery Excellence Manager role leads and manages the global project portfolio for various end-to-end service processes by:
- Collaborating with/support business teams to identify, develop and execute continuous improvements and digital opportunities for the SSO services they receive.
- Represents Procurement Excellence building a strong relationship and trusting partnership with all functions to ensure alignment and enabling the improvements and project initiatives execution.
- Leads/support the adoption of latest processes and solutions to drive process compliance and efficiency by leveraging Innovation solutions and AI implementation.
- Acts as a PMO and leads integral projects for the procurement organization.

You Bring

- Tertiary qualifications, from the areas of Business administration /Commerce/Engineering/Supply chain.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with S2P policies, processes, and solutions in SAP.
- Experience in project management and agile ways of working.
- Good ability to assess business needs and able to translate them in value creation.
- The ideal candidate has the following competencies and skills:
- PMO skills, with a knack of analytics, numbers and digital savviness.
- Strategic thinking, solution-oriented with excellent analytical and planning skills.
- Pragmatic, hands‑on mentality with high resilience and ability to zoom‑in and out (details vs. big picture).
- Can do mentality, excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A team player with focus on value delivery, ability to cope with ambiguity, manage conflicts, work fast in a changing environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English. Additionally, language knowledge is an asset.
- Proven experience working with SSO.
