SEMEA Supplies Category Manager Description - This role is responsible for managing countries category management operations while driving profitable revenue growth for the organization. The role designs strategies and manages execution leveraging market analysis and subject matter expertise to stay ahead of the competition. The role identifies and implements process improvement initiatives and undertakes talent management. SEMEA Supplies Market Category is responsible for Supplies 4Ps and P&L Management of the wide and complex geography Southeastern Europe and Middle East & Africa (more than 100 countries). Our wide market will bring great opportunities for the Supplies category manager joining the team and in charge of managing a team of country category leads. Connecting functions : Marketing, Channel sales, Print HW, instant Ink category, online, legal, Distribution, Sales Operations, End User functions. Responsibilities • Manages activities of individual contributors and/or managers and directs the overall category management operations to achieve business objectives set by the senior management at cluster level. • Identifies opportunities for expanding the category's market reach, potentially through new distribution channels, geographical expansion, or innovative sales approaches. • Collaborates closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts related to the category's success. • Analyzes sales data, trends, and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement. • Acts as a bridge between market and regional customer-facing organizations to ensure effective communication. • Drives substantial revenue performance within the assigned area, setting ambitious targets and implementing innovative approaches to achieve and exceed sales quotas. • Shapes sales approaches and strategies from the insights derived from the market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive intelligence, and customer preferences. • Applies expert subject matter knowledge, shapes knowledge base across businesses, functions, or regions, and provides strong leadership, driving change initiatives and monitoring performance goals. • Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development. Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 10 years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field.
