To expand our team, we are looking for an Operations Director with solid experience in clinical leadership, management, and clinic operations for our Barcelona clinic.
Key Responsibilities 1. Clinic Leadership & Management
Lead all aspects of clinic operations, ensuring alignment with regional goals and standards.
Foster a culture of excellence, empathy, and accountability across all departments.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the clinic's leadership team, including:
Medical Director
Laboratory Director
Nurse Manager / Team Leader
Patient Experience Manager / Team Leader
Experienced in managing transitions (e.g., acquisitions, rebranding).
Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and aligning diverse stakeholders (local teams, central functions).
Drive a results‐oriented culture, setting clear goals and holding teams accountable for achieving clinical, operational, and financial targets.
2. Patient & Employee Experience
Champion a patient‐first culture, ensuring every patient receives compassionate, timely, and high‐quality care.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and high‐performing work environment.
Address and resolve patient or staff concerns promptly and effectively.
3. Operational Excellence
Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, resource planning, and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with clinical, laboratory, and regulatory standards.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as patient conversion, time to treatment, and satisfaction scores.
Comfortable using dashboards and KPIs to inform decisions.
4. Growth & Performance
Drive clinic growth through operational efficiency, local marketing support, and community engagement.
Collaborate with the Regional General Manager and central teams to implement strategic initiatives.
Support financial performance through effective cost management and revenue optimization.
Ability to translate company strategy into clinic‐level action plans.
Understand key drivers of profitability and growth (e.g., margin management, treatment mix, etc.).

Employee engagement and retention
Clinical capacity and productivity
IC conversion – right mix and volumes
Conversion rates and time to treatment
Clinic revenue and growth targets and EBITDA
Operational efficiency and compliance metrics
Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in healthcare operations or clinic management, ideally in fertility or specialty care.
Strong leadership and team‐building skills.
Excellent communication and problem‐solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced, patient‐focused environment.
Bachelor's degree required; healthcare or business‐related field preferred.
Commercially savvy, with experience in revenue growth, business development, or managing P&L.
