As a J&T; engineer at Airbus Illescas site, you will be responsible for designing and specifying Jigs and Tools assets, supporting finance activities for CapEx/OpEx dossiers, contributing to purchasing phases, ensuring industrialization of assets, and integrating solutions into the industrial system. You will collaborate with R&D;, Operations, Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance representatives, and support root cause analysis of non-conformities and improvement projects.
Responsibilities - Design and specify requested Jigs and Tools assets according to manufacturer engineering requirements.
- Support finance in elaborating CapEx and OpEx dossiers.
- Participate in purchasing phases for Jigs and Tools assets.
- Ensure successful industrialization of Jigs and Tools assets up to final acceptance and handover.
- Implement a robust acceptance process with defined Key Performance Indicators.
- Integrate mature industrial technologies and collaborate with R&D; to consolidate Airbus Industrial Vision.
- Design, test and industrialise future tooling concepts for upcoming Airbus programs.
- Provide J&T; solutions based on 3D printing technologies.
- Incorporate Maintenance inputs and feedback into J&T; work specifications and delivered solutions.
- Support plant activities involving any Jig and/or Tool asset.
- Support root cause analysis of non-conformities and improvement projects.
- Deliver technical dispositions to fix J&T; on time and with quality.
Required Skills - More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing technologies of aerostructures in composites.
- Design and delivery of tooling for composite materials, including tooling made of carbon fiber.
- Experience with tooling for aircraft component assembly.
- Design capabilities in CATIA V5.
- Knowledge of 3DExperience (or analogous tools) is valued.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Project management experience with external providers.
- Strong communication, collaborative mindset and analytical thinking.
