About the Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will deliver accurate and timely payroll for employees in Spain, coordinating the monthly payroll cycle with an external provider, validating data changes, and ensuring compliance with Spanish labour law and internal policies.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the monthly payroll cycle and validate changes.
* Review payroll outputs for accuracy and manage employee queries.
* Support HR and Finance with reporting and reconciliations.
* Ensure compliance with Spanish labour law, audits, tax filings, and social security obligations.
* Contribute to process improvements and system updates.
Qualifications
* 3–5 years’ experience in payroll management in Spain.
* Strong understanding of Spanish labour law, IRPF, and social security processes.
* Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency preferred.
* Degree in HR, Labour Relations, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
* Experience with external payroll providers and HR systems.
* Detail‑oriented with strong organisational and communication skills, able to manage deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
