About the Museum of Senses
The Museum of Senses is a non-traditional, immersive museum focused on fun and edutainment for all generations. We currently operate in Romania, the Czech Republic, and Italy, and are about to open our new location in Madrid.
We invite visitors to explore the fascinating world of human senses through interactive experiences, innovative installations, and engaging exhibits that combine learning and entertainment.
Job Summary
As Floor Staff (Sensory Guide), you will be part of the frontline visitor experience team and one of the faces of the museum. This is a dynamic role combining reception duties, floor engagement, visitor assistance, and sales support, with a strong focus on creating memorable experiences.
We are looking for proactive, people-oriented profiles who enjoy working in an interactive, visitor-facing environment.
Visitor Experience & Floor Operations
* Welcome visitors and create a positive first impression
* Explain the museum flow, rules, and sensory experiences
* Validate tickets and manage access control and capacity
* Control visitor flow throughout the museum
* Actively engage with visitors on the museum floor
* Explain exhibits and interactive installations
* Assist visitors with photos and questions
* Manage group arrivals according to internal protocols
* Encourage visitors to leave reviews after their visit
Reception & Sales
* Sell tickets at reception
* Promote and sell shop merchandise
* Advise visitors based on their interests and needs
* Support shop organization and product presentation
Daily Operations & Support
* Maintain cleanliness and order in reception, shop, and museum areas
* Support daily cleaning and restocking routines
* Report technical issues or operational incidents
* Collaborate closely with the team during busy shifts
What we are looking for
* Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, leisure, or sales
* Friendly, proactive, and visitor-oriented attitude
* Strong communication skills
* English level B2 or higher (additional languages are a plus)
* Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
* Immediate availability
