What success looks like in this role:
• Gains familiarity with Software Applications Engineering concepts, practices, and methodologies.
• With guidance, performs assigned software and application development duties, including:
1. Coding and performing unit testing to detect and fix anticipated issues,
2. Performing build and deployment activities for application development efforts,
3. Monitoring performance to ensure system availability and reliability,
4. Working to understand use case and requirements and explore alternative solutions, and
5. Assessing how proposed development/changes may impact functionality and aligned applications or processes.
• Learns and adheres to company and industry standard coding guidelines, continuous integration (CI), and source code processes.
• Reports task status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to lead/manager.
• Completes assigned training/upskilling tasks on time.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
