ROLE SUMMARY :
King’s College, renowned for academic excellence and leadership, seeks a dynamic, inspiring, and ambitious professional for the position of Residential Pastoral and Activity Director on a temporary basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Follow guidelines set by King’s College S.L. (Staff Handbook).
* Be flexible with working hours.
* Attend Director’s Meetings in Madrid.
* Participate in staff selection and conduct interviews.
* Organize student grouping with monitors at the start of the course.
* Monitor and participate in activities, making adjustments for age, level, and gender.
* Support monitors academically and personally, assisting with activity preparation and providing ideas and support.
Core competencies and skills :
* Plan, prioritize, and organize tasks and activities.
* Demonstrate creativity and encourage innovation.
* Manage organizational and budget aspects effectively.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE :
Language
English : Advanced or Proficiency (C1-C2) (Required)
Spanish : Advanced or Proficiency (C1-C2) (Required)
Experience
At least 3 years in residential life for similar programs, and over 5 years in recreation, outdoor education, youth programming, or related fields.
Experience supervising staff and leading teams.
Previous work with high school students as a camp counselor, tutor, or similar role.
