E-Commerce is both growing rapidly and redefining the way we shop and buy. In the online space, Marketplaces are the new "digital shelf". HP is looking for growth-minded Marketplace Business Development Manager to join our team of Marketplace experts. The successful candidate will manage via the right tactics the marketplace programs deployed in the major EMEA platforms to grow our business, improve the online customer experience, and support the company strategy.
The ideal profile is an autonomous and self-motivated Digital Program Manager who thrives on online business, especially marketplaces and has an interest in Business Development and online customer experience. This role will be under the Global Channel Digital Sales and Retail Experience Team that operates at the intersection of HP's Category, Sales, Digital Marketing, and Content Specialist teams.
Responsibilities
* Develop HP online business in the most important EMEA marketplaces, via 1P or 3P
* Develop account plans with partner and sales managers to grow HP's share of the business.
* Identify and understand Customer experience key pain points and customer E2E shopping experience for HP product lines
* Work with Marketplaces to develop and implement actions to improve online CX
* Support and collaborate with country specialists (country retail sales, category, online leads)
* Collaborate externally (marketplaces, 3rd party agencies)
* Dive deep in data, information and reporting to provide high level insights
* Monitor and analyze results of every action taken
* Establish good internal and external communication
* Ensure partners are compliant with marketplace program requirements and maintain day to day contact with them to improve their business.
* Keep up to date with marketplace best practices, marketplaces algorithms and industry research
Education & Experience Recommended
* Bachelor/Master degree – Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline.
* 3-5 years of selling or program management experience at end user account or partner level.
* Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems.
Knowledge & Skills
* Fluency in English and French is a must. Any other European language will be a plus.
* Proficiency with Excel and Power Point
* Self-directed with a passion to continue to learn and grow, embracing the continuous improvement approach (define-measure-analyze-improve-control)
* Ability to work with global teams across multiple countries; very strong teamwork orientation
* Effectively sells HP offerings by building strategic relationships with partner contacts; and promoting HP programs and offerings.
* Partners effectively with others to ensure coordinated, efficient account management.
