Pb Join Our Team as a Biomedical Sales Manager (Spain Italy) at Avidity Science! /b /pp Are you an ambitious sales professional passionate about supporting scientific research environments? Avidity Science is seeking a Biomedical Sales Manager to build and grow our presence across Spain, with future support for Italy and Portugal. /p p This field-based role focuses on introducing Avidity’s trusted solutions — including our well‑established animal drinking systems — to customers working in research environments where laboratory animals are cared for and studied. /p p To be considered, you will need to ideally be already located within commutable distance of Barcelona or Madrid, located near regional and international travel hubs, and have existing right to work within the EU. This position involves regular travel across the region, typically 3–4 days per week, including overnight stays. /p pbu Why Avidity Science? /u /b /pullib Competitive Package: /b Salary on offer up to €70,000 dependant on experience, plus a performance related incentive structure and opportunities for career progression within an ambitious and supportive team. /lilib Meaningful Work: /b Support scientific and biomedical research environments with high quality animal drinking solutions and water purification systems. /lilib Autonomy Ownership: /b Take full responsibility for establishing our presence in Spain — a true greenfield market with huge potential. /lilib Future Growth: /b As the Spanish market develops, the role will expand to support Italy and Portugal. /lilib Supportive Team: /b Work closely with the EMEA Sales Manager, experienced distribution partners, and a collaborative internal team. /lilib Purpose Driven Mission: /b Help advance animal welfare and scientific standards through reliable, innovative solutions. /li /ul pbu Your Role /u /b /pp As a Biomedical Sales Manager, you will: /pulli Lead the development of Avidity Science’s presence in the Spanish market from the ground up, where the current landscape is heavily skewed toward water bottle solutions. /lili Build strong relationships with research institutions, laboratories, animal facilities, and relevant distributor partners. /lili Promote Avidity’s range of biomedical solutions, with a particular emphasis on animal drinking systems designed for regulated research environments. /lili Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through a consultative, solutions focused approach. /lili Strengthen brand awareness across Spain in collaboration with our marketing team and distributor partners — a key success measure in the first 6–12 months. /lili Manage and develop distributor relationships to ensure alignment, engagement, and growth. /lili Maintain accurate sales pipelines through Salesforce and build detailed territory plans. /lili Represent Avidity Science at industry events, symposiums, seminars, and customer visits. /lili Support future development of the Italian and Portuguese markets as the role evolves. /li /ul pbu What We’re Looking For /u /b /pullib Sales Experience /b : Demonstrable experience in technical, scientific, or capital equipment sales. /lilib Distributor Management /b : Proven experience developing and motivating distributor networks. /lilib Industry Advantage /b : Experience working with animal care, laboratory animal science, or biomedical research environments is advantageous. /lilib Hunter Mentality /b : Energised by building a market from zero, persistent in opening doors, and comfortable with early rejection stages. /lilib Communication /b : Strong relationship building skills with customers at all levels. /lilib Organisation Drive /b : Self‑motivated, resilient, well-structured, and highly proactive. /lilib Languages /b : Fluent Spanish and English required; Italian is an advantage. /lilib Travel Ready /b : Able to travel extensively across Spain and occasionally to Italy, Portugal, and the UK. /li /ul pbu Interview Process /u /b /polli30‑minute phone call with the EMEA Sales Manager /lili Teams interview with the EMEA Sales Manager and Head of Commercial EMEA /lili Final in‑person interview at our EMEA base in the UK /li /ol pbu Ready to Make an Impact? /u /b /pp If you’re a driven sales professional ready to shape a new market and support essential scientific research, we’d love to hear from you.
