Why this role matters
The Vonage Carrier Management Team (CMT) is responsible for all telco supply. Managing relationships with CSPs and CPaaS partners, all A2P trading relationships and OTT clients. The team owns connectivity and cost for SMS, Voice, RCS & Network APIs. As Director of Operations, you will lead all CMT Operations functions and align with Vonage API AOP. You will be responsible for operational performance, quality, and cost delivery, and for developing the individuals within CMT Operations.
What you’ll do
* Ensure all routing and CMT pricing operations maximize Vonage revenue and gross margin, supporting client-facing requirements.
* Collaborate with the Product team to enhance systems and platforms, including adopting a new routing engine and increasing automation.
* Drive team performance and personal development through close work with team managers.
* Oversee carrier and supplier support functions, including onboarding and escalations.
* Represent CMT and foster relationships with all Vonage stakeholders and internal customers.
* Coordinate with Carrier Regional Leads to meet regional requirements.
* Utilize market analytics for commercial decision-making and planning.
* Align operations with top clients and sales teams, ensuring timely delivery of RFP pricing exercises.

* Experience developing KPI and data analytics for decision-making.
