Main Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Understand and be able to perform customs clearances including certificates, solve and offer solutions to incidents.
2. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements.
3. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all financial activities relevant to CHB.
4. Collect and present data reports to Management, Customer, Internal Stakeholders, Compliance, and Implementation Teams.
5. To ensure all Operating Manuals are reviewed regularly and updated where required.
6. Ensure that work carried out complies with standard as defined in the operating Manuals.
7. To ensure the Quality Assurance Procedures are up to date and clearly reflect current working practices.
8. Ensuring that all local customs authorities’/statutory requirements are met or exceeded.
9. Maintain a first-class business relationship with all customers and internal stakeholders for the team.
10. To be an active team member who will exchange knowledge and expertise.
11. Proactively lead or actively participate in Customs related projects.
12. To ensure training is completed to allow you to cover all accounts in the team.
13. To engender team spirit and staff engagement.
Who we are looking for
14. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders.
15. Stakeholder management skills and relationship building.
16. English & Spanish fluency (both oral and written).
17. Customer Centricity and result orientation.
18. Well-organized when working under pressure.
19. Team player – works together with the team to achieve results.
20. Good understanding of operational processes & local customs authorities’ knowledge.
21. Demonstrate problem solving capabilities - willing to learn and highly responsible and able to create and maintain a good working environment.
22. 1-3 years of experience as Customs Declarant.
23. Customs Declarant Diploma valid in Spain will be a plus
