We are partnering with a major international enterprise undergoing a large-scale IAM transformation, and they are looking for an experienced IAM SME to elevate standards, strengthen controls, and operationalise a new Target Operating Model across multiple regions. </p><p></p><p> This is a high-impact position where you will bring structure, maturity, and governance excellence to a complex, global environment. </p><p></p><p><b> What you’ll be doing </b></p><p><b> Governance & Compliance </b></p><ul><li> Architect and implement IAM governance frameworks, controls, policies </li><li> Conduct governance-focused risk assessments, security audits, and contribute to external audits; ensure integrity of IAM systems and access control mechanisms. </li><li> Drive enforcement of IAM governance policies and IAM TOM processes across 20+ regions, hubs, and locations. </li><li> Lead MFA and PAM governance controls implementation and maintain compliance with IAM standards. </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Strategy & Operations </b></p><ul><li> Align IAM governance strategies with IAM TOM and organizational goals, focusing on identity federation, SSO, RBAC, and automation. </li><li> Define, implement, and continuously improve IAM processes globally; act as a central point of contact for IAM process excellence. </li><li> Develop governance KPIs, metrics, and SLAs to support decision-making and drive IAM performance reporting. </li><li> Drive process improvements using advanced analytics, identity governance frameworks, and OPEX/Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Program Management & Stakeholder Engagement </b></p><ul><li> Oversee execution of IAM TOM processes and controls; lead adoption of new processes, policies, and controls </li><li> Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on strategic IAM initiatives. </li><li> Prepare and present updates and recommendations to top management and senior technical stakeholders. </li><li> Ensure smooth integration of process changes across global IAM operations; contribute to team stabilization by coaching and guiding junior team members. </li></ul><p></p><p><b> What you bring </b></p><ul><li> Strong foundation in IAM governance, identity lifecycle management, authentication standards, and directory services. </li><li>5+ years of experience in IAM operations/governance within a large and complex global environment. </li><li> Proven background in improving and managing IAM processes at scale. </li><li> Familiarity with tools such as SailPoint, Okta, or Ping Identity. </li><li> Experience with Lean, OPEX, or Six Sigma methodologies is highly beneficial. </li><li> Ability to collaborate with senior technical stakeholders and communicate governance concepts clearly. </li><li> Awareness of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA). </li><li> Experience managing external vendors or third-party service providers. </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Why it’s exciting </b></p><ul><li> Hybrid working (2-3 days per week in the office in Barcelona) with flexibility, including the option to work abroad for part of the year. </li><li> Competitive compensation including bonuses, pension, shares, and strong learning and development support. </li><li> A global environment undergoing major transformation - your governance leadership will have real influence. </li></ul><p></p><p> If this sounds like an opportunity that aligns with your expertise, please reach out to annaf@montash.de or apply directly. </p>
