The Role
Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans and activity for IBERIA, for both direct B2C and B2B customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the Marketing Plan for IBERIA in line with EMEA sales and marketing strategy and global brand plans.
* Implement marketing campaigns for IBERIA in line with EMEA marketing strategy and global brand plans
* Own the IBERIA marketing budget, forecasting spend across the calendar year in line with local marketing plan and sales strategy
* Manage the validation and translation of Spanish marketing materials via our agency and directly with central marketing to ensure accuracy / relevancy of marketing content
* Ensure local trade marketing investment across IBERIA is focused on the TOP 5 customer accounts, developing detailed co-marketing plans
* Manage and implement co-op marketing plans, tracking activity and spend on a quarterly basis in partnership with EMEA Marketing Manager - Distribution
* Collaborate with key online customers across IBERIA to deliver strong Navico Group brand presence across customer websites, ensuring our brands and products our optimized online
* Implement instore excellence (POD, POS, training materials) to provide the best in-store display solutions, with the most up to date products and POS materials
* Work with central marketing to ensure PODs (Navis / CTUs) requirements annually, ensuring the required stock is available for IBERIA
* Research, organise, support and deliver new trade marketing initiatives like in-store POS, with a focus on innovative solutions that increase digitisation and consumer engagement
* Adapt and localise sales support materials to suit IBERIA as required
* Manage the local ambassador team, ensuring contract obligations are fulfilled, driving content for relevant marketing channels
* Manage all IBERIA focused sponsorships and events in line with CBT and sales strategy
* Own and manage the Lowrance Spain Facebook Page: Review the social content provided by Global and translate relevant posts / content for the Lowrance Spain Facebook Page using Hootsuite. Also develop local posts and content as required, as well as manage discussion with consumers via the social channel
* Develop PR campaigns for IBERIA: validate the translated press release and distribute among relevant media outlets
* Define advertising plans for IBERIA and manage with media agency
* Support the execution of promotional campaigns for IBERIA selecting and deploying relevant mechanics to drive adoption of campaigns
* Manage and coordinate local photo and video shoots as required, with a focus on gathering content that can be used globally / regionally as well as at a local level
* Review local websites to make sure pages are correct and update with local news when relevant
* Monitor competitor activity / performance, providing insights to Marketing Director EMEA and CBT marketing leads
Education and Experience Requirements:
* 3-5 years in marketing communications role
* Fluency in European Spanish and English
* Strong track record of experience with both B2B and B2C marketing
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Skilled at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
* Intermediate to advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time to visit customers and support events
* Marine experience preferred
