Key Responsibilities:
* Manages the execution of new data initiatives by defining data management requirements, tracking and reporting on projects progress, escalating risks and issues in plan execution and follows defined change management governance processes.
* Creative development of data management deliverables for prioritized initiatives such as data dictionaries, data lineage, data quality business rules and identifies need for changes in metadata within domain.
* Ensures control models to monitor and report data quality issues are in place and adhere to data policies and standards for the data domains under their area of leadership.
* Identifies, tracks, and works with Remediation team on the resolution of priority data issues root causes to improve data quality levels.
* Conducts an annual review of existing key data elements, data quality rules and associated metadata artifacts to ensure they are still fit for purpose and were consistently implemented across the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Able to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity and precision both written and verbal.
* Able to exercise stakeholder confidentiality and discretionary judgment.
* Strong data quality experience.
* Demonstrated experience with data governance, data management, business glossary, data lineage, metadata, and/or data quality.
* Able to interact with senior level management; experience interfacing with multiple levels of the organizational structure.
* Demonstrated analytical, project management and tactical planning skills.
