We at Hill Robinson are seeking a Chief Mate who is dedicated to the Classic field!As this Motor Yacht is a True floating Museum … so if this is something what truly “floats your boat” then we are looking for you !
Start Date: March 2026
Itinerary: Western Med
Package: Competitive Salary paid in Euros / 60 days leave
Experience/Skills required:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as Chief Mate on a similar sized yacht
* Possessing good navigational and watch keeping knowledge (including ECDIS)
* Strong varnish, paint and teak knowledge
* Must be a hands-on and proactive Mate with the ability to motivate and mentor the deck crew
* Excellent tender driving skills and the ability to drive for water sports
* Professional appearance with Fluent English (verbal and written)
Qualifications required:
* Yacht Master (Min)
* ECDIS General
* PBL2
* STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
* Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (with min 6 months’ validity)
