We’re now hiring an Associate Product Manager (Apps & Growth) to join one of our app squads and be the link between business metrics and product execution. You’ll make sure your squad moves fast, stays focused, and makes decisions based on data — not opinions.
This is a high-leverage role: you’ll connect analytics, UX, engineering, and business outcomes, driving growth, retention, and monetization across your app.
* Squad Leadership & Operations:
* Own the execution rhythm of your app squad — update Notion boards, set priorities, ensure progress, and run weekly reviews with design, dev, and data.
* Performance Accountability:
* Track and report on your app’s key metrics (retention, LTV, ARPU, trials, payback). Define OKRs, monitor progress, and propose actions when metrics move.
* Suggest, design, and evaluate A/B tests for onboarding, pricing, paywalls, push notifications, and UX flows.
* Benchmarking & Market Research:
* Analyze competitors using Data. ai, SensorTower, and AppTweak. Identify best practices in monetization, retention, and design.
* Data-Driven Product Thinking:
* Partner with the Product Analyst to translate data into decisions. Turn dashboards and insights into hypotheses and experiments.
* Process Excellence:
* Make sure the squad stays aligned — documentation updated, deadlines clear, and insights shared with leadership weekly.
? WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (90 Days)
* Notion workspace and OKR dashboards fully organized and updated weekly.
* Clear cadence of weekly insights, experiments, and squad retrospectives.
* First A/B tests launched and documented (pricing, onboarding, paywall, or retention).
* Clear performance narrative for your app: what’s driving LTV, what’s limiting growth.
* Recognition by the CEO as the “owner” of your app’s pulse — metrics, ideas, execution.
? WHAT YOU’LL DO (Day-to-day)
* Start mornings with your squad — sync with UX, devs, and product analyst.
* Review performance dashboards (Amplitude, Looker, Firebase) and spot patterns.
* Coordinate experiment launches: define hypothesis, metrics, and evaluation window.
* Prepare weekly progress updates for leadership (goals, blockers, wins).
* Research top-performing apps for inspiration in monetization and retention tactics.
* Keep everyone aligned: your squad should always know what’s next and why.
? WHAT YOU MUST HAVE (Hard Requirements)
These are non-negotiable. Please apply only if you meet all of them.
* Background: Degree in Business, Engineering, Data, or Product Management (ESADE, TBS, IE, UPC, or similar).
* Analytical mindset: You can read dashboards, interpret metrics, and spot product opportunities from data.
* Execution: Comfortable running meetings, keeping people accountable, and tracking deliverables.
* Passion for consumer apps: You analyze onboarding flows, paywalls, and notifications for fun.
* Tool familiarity: Amplitude, Firebase, Looker, Google Sheets; basic SQL or Python is a plus.
* Communication: Structured, clear, and confident in English and Spanish.
* Availability: Full‑time, based in Barcelona (hybrid).
* Ownership: You thrive when trusted to manage your own app as a business unit.
? NICE-TO-HAVE (Great to see)
* Experience in mobile app businesses or subscription models.
* Exposure to A/B testing tools or experimentation frameworks.
* Familiarity with Data. ai, SensorTower, or AppTweak.
* Past internship in product, analytics, or startup growth roles.
* Love for data, UX, and business equally.
