\nABOUT THE RESORT
\n 5 -star international resort in Porto Petro (Mallorca) with diversified dining concepts including buffet, à la carte and specialty stations. The resort caters to international leisure guests with a high seasonal occupancy.
\nROLE PURPOSE
\n The Sushi Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting sushi and related Japanese -inspired products with precision, consistency and adherence to food safety standards. The role ensures high product quality during peak seasonal periods.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n
• Prepare sushi, maki, nigiri and related products in line with quality and presentation standards.
\n
• Maintain mise -en -place for sushi station including fish processing, rice preparation and garnish.
\n
• Ensure proper storage, handling and rotation of fish and perishable ingredients.
\n
• Maintain HACCP compliance, hygiene and food safety regulations at all times.
\n
• Monitor freshness, temperature, cutting techniques and portion control.
\n
• Replenish sushi items during service and manage guest -facing stations when required.
\n
• Collaborate with Sous Chefs and other kitchen sections during production peaks.
\n
• Report shortages, equipment issues and product deviations.
\n
• Contribute to menu evolution and seasonal items when applicable.
\nREQUIREMENTS
\n
• Proven experience as Sushi Chef or similar role in hotel, resort or restaurant.
\n
• Precision, knife skills and product knowledge related to sushi preparation.
\n
• Experience in high -volume or seasonal operations is valued.
\n
• Positive, organized and disciplined work approach.
\n
• English required (intermediate). Spanish valued.
\n
• Legal right to work in the EU or valid permit for Spain.
\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• 2.700€ gross monthly salary
\n
• Full -time seasonal contract (April–November)
