Mission
As Delivery Manager, you will report to the Sr. IT Manager of Global Custom Software Solutions and lead the development teams responsible for building and maintaining PPG’s custom applications. You will ensure the successful execution of software projects by managing teams, tools, processes, and vendor relationships. Your role is critical in aligning technical delivery with business goals, driving innovation, and maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage cross-functional Scrum teams delivering custom software solutions
* Ensure timely and quality delivery of software projects in collaboration with Program Managers
* Oversee application design compliance with architectural standards and manage technical debt
* Collaborate with Product Owners to align development with business priorities
* Coordinate with architecture, DevOps, and governance teams throughout the development lifecycle
* Supervise internal and external resources, including hiring and performance management
* Monitor and ensure service KPIs, security compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
* 8+ years of experience in IT applications, including 4+ years in a leadership role
* Strong background in Agile software development and DevOps environments
* Proven experience managing software teams and delivering complex solutions
* Solid understanding of software architecture and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
* Application development experience in the Microsoft stack
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice to Have
* Master’s degree in a related field
* Experience with open-source stacks and project/vendor management
* Familiarity with tools like Checkmarx, SonarLint, and SonarQube
* ITIL Foundations Certification
