Position Overview
The HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with senior management, focusing on strategic initiatives such as organizational design, effectiveness, and change management. Responsibilities include advising on employee relations, recruitment, performance management, engagement, and talent development. This matrixed role primarily serves factory leadership, as well as functional managers in Supply Chain and Engineering, supporting operations across Spain from Madrid.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with leadership to develop organizational structures that meet business needs, enhancing capability and capacity.
* Manage resources effectively, monitor employment data, and analyze trends to drive productivity.
* Develop and implement succession plans, ensuring a diverse talent pool and active development programs.
* Handle employee relations issues proactively, including investigations and grievances, with support from Labour Relations.
* Utilize HR tools and resources to motivate and engage teams, ensuring alignment with HR and business priorities.
* Support onboarding, probation reviews, and salary processes linked to performance.
* Stay updated on employment legislation, implementing policies to ensure compliance.
* Promote Otis values and safety standards, including environmental and ethical practices.
* Align HR strategies with local and regional business goals, fostering a positive factory culture.
Qualifications
* Degree, preferably an MBA or Law qualification.
* Minimum 10 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
* Strong labor law expertise and operational HR background.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Proven skills in organizational design, change management, and HR systems.
