Job Opportunity: (Senior) Commercial Project Manager
We are looking for a (Senior) Commercial Project Manager to join our Customer Service business administration team. The objective is to prepare competitive offers, keep ongoing projects on budget within Siemens guidelines and customer satisfaction, and continuously improve contracts' profitability. This role includes detailed financial analysis, contract reviews, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Reporting Line
The role reports directly to the Head of Customer Services Business Administration.
Responsibilities
* Prepare all relevant financial information during the offer phase and present it in the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) meeting for both national and international offers
* Serve as a trusted partner for the Project Manager of ongoing projects, managing all commercial aspects within the project
* Ensure accuracy of project books and records, including recording in systems such as SAP, ensuring compliance with Siemens-FRG and local GAAP requirements
* Ensure all related project reporting and controlling activities for local and international contracts/projects under your scope
* Manage financial results according to set targets, aiming to optimize project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments
* Proactively handle all commercial and financial issues under your responsibility
* Communicate financial results and key drivers to management
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project management or finance
* Good knowledge of performance controlling, sales, and project execution
* Familiarity with calculation methods, financial models, forecasting, and project controlling
* Understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/Siemens FRG) and taxation
* Knowledge of Siemens business processes, policies, and procedures
* Experience working with Business Administration (BA) tools
* Strong analytical skills are essential
* A strong sense of responsibility is required
* Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and oral
* Excellent teamwork, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills
* Multicultural working experience is a plus
