Posted 14-Feb-2025 (MST)_- _Capella Hanoi_- _Full Time_**JOB SUMMARY**The Receiving Officer must ensure that all goods received by the hotel have been properly ordered and the goods meet the prescribed quality set by the various user departments. The quantities received must be verified and to alert the respective departments as soon as possible.**THE ROLE****Key Duties and Responsibilities**- Responsible for proper documentation and distribution of records of all merchandise entering the hotel, such as purchase orders, daily market list and supplies requisitions.- To ensure that a representative from the kitchen are on site to check the specification before the delivery of direct issue food items to the kitchen.- Check, count and verify all goods received to ensure that goods received are in accordance with the purchase specification. Goods ordered are to be supported by Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, or Daily Market List.- Ensure that all invoices or delivery orders of goods received are properly stamped and recorded in the appropriate forms. i.E. Receiving records,- Ensure that all rejected goods, containers, empty bottles and cases leaving the hotel are properly documented and accounted for.- To summarize and record all goods purchased and returned by the hotel on a daily basis.- To be efficient in their required duties such as examining merchandise and record keeping.**General**- To provide courteous and professional service, graciously and efficiently and maintain good working relationship with all colleagues throughout the hotel.- To report for duty punctually wearing smart attire according to Hotel's dress codes and name badge at all time.- To have a complete understanding of the hotel's policies and procedures and to adhered to them.- To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned. To respond to changes in departmental functions as dictated by the statutory regulations, industry, company or the hotel.**TALENT PROFILE****Qualifications**- A Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent is preferred**Work Experience**- Experiences in similar role at luxury hotels/resort**Technical Skills**- Competent computing skills (e.G.
