Quality Control Supervisor - Batch Release Location: Girona | Full-time | Pharmaceutical ManufacturingWe are supporting a pharmaceutical organisation in the Girona area looking to appoint a Quality Control Supervisor to take ownership of batch release and QC laboratory oversight within a GMP-regulated environment.This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the timely and compliant release of product, working closely with QA and manufacturing.The RoleYou will play a key role in reviewing and approving analytical data to support batch release, while overseeing day-to-day QC laboratory activities.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing and approving analytical results to support batch releaseEnsuring all QC activities are completed in line with GMP and regulatory requirementsSupervising and coordinating QC laboratory operations (chemical and/or microbiology)Managing and reviewing deviations, OOS/OOT investigations and CAPAsActing as a key interface between QC, QA and production to ensure timely product releaseSupporting regulatory inspections and internal auditsDriving improvements in lab efficiency, compliance and turnaround timesYour ProfileWe're looking for someone with strong experience in QC within a GMP environment, with particular exposure to batch review and release processes.You will likely have:Experience working in a GMP-regulated QC laboratoryDirect involvement in batch release, or review of analytical data supporting releaseExperience handling deviations, investigations and CAPAsExposure to supervising, coordinating or mentoring team membersStrong understanding of analytical testing (e.g. HPLC, microbiology, stability)Familiarity with systems such as LIMS, Trackwise or similarWhy ApplyHigh-impact role with clear ownership of batch release activitiesOpportunity to step into or develop leadership responsibilitiesCollaborative GMP environment with strong cross-functional exposure
