In this role, you will architect and build cutting-edge web applications that visualize large mechanical simulation datasets. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to shape the front-end for high-performance, secure, and scalable visualization tools. Your work directly supports engineers in interpreting complex data and accelerating simulation workflows. You will lead architecture discussions, implement advanced visualizations, and mentor junior engineers, contributing to Synopsys’ leadership in engineering software.

• Architect, design, and develop user-friendly Mechanical Simulation web apps
• Establish and enforce architecture best practices for maintainability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and optimize visualization workflows
• Implement advanced data visualization features for high-dimensional datasets
• Lead initiatives for high performance, scalability, and security with regular audits and bottleneck optimizations
• Drive code reviews, debug architectural issues, and maintain software quality standards
• Stay current with industry trends and integrate new technologies to improve UX and resilience
• Document system architecture and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
Responsabilidades
• MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year experience
• Proven history of architecting, deploying, and maintaining complex, customer-facing web applications in a commercial software environment
• Strong proficiency in front-end development (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue)
• Deep understanding of software design patterns, state management, responsive design, and front-end security
• Experience with client-server architecture xpzdshu and development
• Commercial experience with agile software design and development methodologies
• Experience handling large datasets (2D & 3D) for browser visualization and libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly, WebGL (desirable)
• Experience with simulation data and engineering workflows (desirable)
• Experience designing & developing Web APIs (REST, gRPC, WebSocket, etc.) preferred
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI pipelines preferred
