Position Overview
For this exciting new project launching in summer 2025, the Hostess is the first point of contact and sets the tone for the entire guest experience. You will be the embodiment of our brand's spirit—welcoming guests with warmth, elegance, and professionalism from the moment they arrive.
As a Welcome Ambassador, your mission is to ensure a seamless and unforgettable journey for each guest, from arrival to seating. You will manage reservations, orchestrate the guest flow, and collaborate closely with service, security, and kitchen teams to guarantee a smooth and elevated experience. With a deep understanding of the venue and its offerings, you respond to inquiries with precision and confidence while showcasing the lifestyle and energy of the Nikki Beach Hospitality Group.
You thrive in high-energy environments, remain calm under pressure, and maintain impeccable presentation and poise. You’re not only a skilled coordinator but also a storyteller and brand advocate, ready to share insights about our menus, events, and international locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a warm, gracious, and personalized welcome aligned with the brand standards
* Oversee the entire guest journey from entrance to seating in all areas (restaurant, bar, lounge, cabanas)
* Manage daily reservations, waiting lists, and guest preferences using the appropriate systems
* Strategically assign tables based on guest profiles, service flow, and operational needs
* Communicate constantly with the floor, bar, kitchen, and security to maintain guest flow and timing
* Handle VIPs, birthdays, and special events with discretion and personalized attention
* Remain fully informed of all menus, specials, and promotions to make confident recommendations
* Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience
* Maintain the reception area’s cleanliness and visual presentation at all times
* Execute all opening, service, and closing procedures at the host stand
* Participate in daily briefings and training sessions to stay aligned with service updates and standards
* Be punctual, well-groomed, and professionally dressed according to brand guidelines
* Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and instructions from leadership
* Actively contribute to team communication and a strong service culture
* Represent the Nikki Beach Hospitality Group lifestyle with elegance, knowledge, and charm
Required Qualifications and Competencies
* Prior experience as a Hostess or in a guest-facing hospitality role, ideally in luxury or high-volume venues
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a flair for hospitality and guest service
* Highly organized with the ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Professional appearance and strong sense of discretion, courtesy, and charisma
* Strong knowledge of reservations systems and guest seating coordination
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences
* Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish, German, or other languages are a plus
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
