Position: Mining Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer for international projects.
About the role
- Provide comprehensive mining operation support to the project, ensuring efficient and effective execution of all responsibilities.
- Manage and oversee the project execution, including the allocation of technical and human resources, monitoring of production and economic costs, and coordination of work across various departments.
- Plan and supervise earthmoving activities in alignment with technical specifications and project requirements.
- Assist with mine planning, including drill and blast operations, and develop schedules to meet operational targets.
- Prioritize safety and environmental considerations in all mining activities to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly plans to optimize production levels.
- Prepare detailed weekly and end-of-month reports as required, providing insights and updates on project progress and performance.
About you
- Mining Engineering degree.
- Strong organisational, communication and planning skills.
- Demonstrated positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour.
- Have a very high commitment to health, safety, quality and the environment.
- Understanding of mining principles, design concepts and operations (particularly their relation to mining activities).
- Team player attitude.
- Be able to be relocated abroad.
- English proficency.
