CHANEL is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity! We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Supervisor ECI for a maternity cover position within Spain Retail Team, reporting to the Retail Manager.
Your role at CHANEL:
As a Supervisor ECI, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and energizing the performance of multiple retail centers under your responsibility. Your mission will be to maximize sales, elevate customer experience, and ensure flawless brand image representation across all points of sale.
You will act as a coach, manager, and ambassador, guiding your teams to deliver an exceptional client journey while ensuring operational excellence in line with CHANEL standards.
Your role as Supervisor is to contribute to the overall performance of the CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty Division by taking ownership of the following key responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Sales & Performance Management: Establish, monitor, and achieve sales objectives for your area. Analyze weekly, monthly, and annual results, implementing action plans to correct deviations and accelerate growth.
- Client Experience: Guarantee an exceptional service level in every center, aligning with the brand’s standards of excellence.
- Brand Image & Operations: Ensure compliance with visual merchandising, marketing plans, maintenance, and all internal policies to preserve CHANEL’s image at the highest level.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Motivate and inspire your team to deliver outstanding client experiences. Lead onboarding, continuous training, and annual performance evaluations. Actively coach staff in sales techniques, recognizing strengths and fostering improvement.
- HR & Workforce Management: Partner with HRBP to manage scheduling, holidays, absences, contracts, incentives, and staffing needs across your area.
- Communication & Alignment: Facilitate clear and effective communication across teams, ensuring all retail staff are aligned with company objectives and initiatives.
- Merchandise & Stock Control: Calculate minimum stock levels, validate orders, and ensure optimal stock availability and placement across centers.
- Business Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with ECI perfumery and floor managers, strengthening our commercial collaboration.
- Market Intelligence: Study competitors’ actions and prepare monthly reports to identify new business opportunities and secure competitive advantage.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Cover and submit visit reports, tracking store conditions, team performance, and action plans to boost sales.
- Brand Representation: Act as a true ambassador of CHANEL in all interactions, embodying our values and excellence.

We are looking for a results-driven and people-oriented professional willing to develop expertise in sales, team management, and retail. This person could be located in Madrid or Barcelona.
- Experience: in retail management, preferably in luxury beauty, fashion, or premium consumer goods is valued.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams, ensuring consistent performance improvement.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze business results and translate insights into concrete action plans.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to engage both internal teams and external partners.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of retail operations, stock management, and client service excellence.
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency is highly valued.
- Agility & Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic retail environment.
