**What are we looking for?**
Background and Technical knowledge:
- Undergraduate degree in any of the following disciplines: finance, mathematics, physics or engineering.
- Master in quantitative finance or in any other quantitative field.is a plus
- Option trading experience is desired.
- Experience dealing with Murex as a Risk Management system.
- Experience with the following programming languages: VBA, Python is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluency in English.
Soft skills:
- Highly motivated professional able to work as a team player in a fast-growing business with good communication skills.
- Talented trader with more than 5 years of experience in trading different asset classes (Equities, Fx, rates..) with a good knowledge of Market dynamics and trading books risks.
- Analytical profile able to understand the trading workflows.
- With an initiative to permanently improve the trading setup and tools.
- Teamwork is essential.
**Overview**
QIS is a fast-growing business, as part of the Investment Solutions, sits within Global Markets unit, focusing in the design, manufacturing and distribution of rule-based, multi-asset strategies, built as investible indices. BBVA QIS offers clients a wide range of investment alternatives leveraging on BBVA´s powerful data-driven skills and expertise
QIS trading team ensures the tradability and cost efficiency of the QIS designed strategies across the different asset classes responsible for hedging delta 1 exposure of the trading books in the most profitable way providing the required liquidity to the external and internal clients.
Daily tasks:
- Lead the QIS x-asset trading mandate. Implementing and evolving the x-asset trading platform
- Management of the risks of the QIS books across the different asset classes (rates, fx, equity derivatives, credit..)
- Implementing the workflow for the hedging of the QIS strategies with the different BBVA GM flow de desks
- Participating in the implementation and evolving of the appropriate booking infrastructure of the x-asset QIS
- Leading the improvement of the QIS Trading Platform and Risk Management tools
- Collaborate with the Product Development specialist in the implementability and replicability of the QIS strategy
- Coordinate with the flow specialist to ensure the appropriate cost structure of the QIS strategy
Support the QIS management in the evolution of the whole QIS Platform
