This position is designed to develop and leverage internal expertise. /ppbr/ppbWhat to expect: /b /pulliBuild and maintain in-house competitive costing capabilities: /liliDevelop Competitive Costing Process and Tools. /liliCollect necessary data for Costing, using internal and external teardown information. /liliIdentify cost drivers, material choices, manufacturing processes, and sourcing strategies used by competitors. /liliMaintain a database of benchmarked cost data for use in ongoing and future projects. /liliRealize Costing assessments /liliFor powertrain at large, including engines, transmissions, batteries and other systems /liliFormalize detailed should costs analyses and gap analyses /liliCollaborate and Communicate /liliCoordinate with internal costing engineers to develop consistent tools and practices. /liliWork closely with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to validate benchmarking assumptions and ensure data accuracy. /liliPrepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, cost differentials, and strategic recommendations for management and engineering teams. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat you bring along: /b /pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field /liliMinimum 7 years of experience in powertrain costing within the automotive industry /liliExperience with cost benchmarking, teardown analysis, and competitive intelligence in the automotive sector. /liliKnowledge of Costing Software, including preferably Siemens Costing SW. /liliStrong analytical skills and proficiency with cost modelling tools and techniques. /liliAbility to interpret technical and financial data from diverse sources /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex benchmarking findings. /liliProject management experience. /liliKnowledge of the latest trends in automotive powertrain. /liliFluency in English.
