SCIB (Global Export & Agency Finance)
is looking for a
Global Export & Agency Finance Associate
based out of our
Boadilla Madrid
office. As an Associate you will be part of the
Global Export and Agency Finance
team which leads the origination and structuring of
Multilateral Agencies (MLAs)
in close coordination with offices in NY and Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
Assist with business origination activities and preparation of top-quality marketing and internal materials, both from a content and visual perspective.
Contribute to business development activities, including new MLA products, opportunity screening and coordination with bankers and MLAs.
Drive internal coordination processes across relevant stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, E&S, Syndication, Middle Office, Project Finance, etc.).
Prepare high-quality internal and external materials, ensuring strong analytical content and professional presentation standards.
Structure and execute transactions together with Multilateral Agencies.
Execute advisory and coordination roles.
Design new value-added solutions, as the team progresses toward more complex structures.
Qualifications

Professional Experience
Minimum of 4-5 years in advisory and/or lending structured/Project/Export & Agency Finance transactions.
Mastering of the legal arrangements’ standard in non-recourse financing (Project Finance) and/or Export & Agency Finance transactions.
Experience in leading deal teams (different geographies, internal departments, external advisors, etc).
Highly valued: International experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering.
Languages
Mandatory: English and Spanish.
Other languages as positive: Portuguese or French.
Skills And Knowledge
Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.
Self-starter, extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy.
Strong interdisciplinary skills covering financing and documentation.
Proactivity and creativity. Ability to take initiatives and propose solutions. High degree of commitment in a very demanding environment.
Capable to manage different transactions with different time zones at the same time.
Possess drive with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Team player / ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
Consistently achieve results, even under difficult circumstances and an ability to prioritize.
Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
Financial modelling skills are an advantage.
