The Digital Deal Strategy & Support team helps account executives at SAP be more productive, increase our opportunity win rates and time-to-revenue. Employees working in this team usually have former sales experience and feel comfortable managing complex deals externally (with Partners & Customers) and internally (with SAP stakeholders).
As a Digital Deal Strategy Associate, you will work on the team that supports our sales team in complex deals by helping grow SAP’s Cloud ERP & LoB footprint in NNN & IB across all industries, working with SAP & Partners resources, as well as Customers.
You will be part of EMEA Digital Deal Strategy & Support Team, a team of experts and champions who advise SAP’s sales organization on Deal Strategy, Structuring and Closure of complex opportunities in the EMEA midmarket (Europe, Middle-East & Africa).
The Digital Deal Strategy Associate role is a pivotal role within the EMEA Midmarket organization, serving as the GOTO Team contact for SAP Sales Executives to support them with the deal management and quote fulfilment of their cloud deals. Your primary mission is to streamline internal sales processes thereby allowing Sales Executives to dedicate more time to strategic customer interactions.
Key Responsibilites and Tasks
You will act as the primary point of contact and support for the SAP Sales Executives in EMEA, assisting them in navigating their sales cycles. You will take ownership of key aspects of their workload, enabling them to prioritize customer engagements.
• Proposal and Quote Management: Play a crucial role in crafting compelling proposals and quotes for both current and prospective clients.
• Collaborative Pricing and Contract Management: Collaborate closely with Sales Executives on pricing strategies, quoting processes, and contract management. Concentrate efforts on volume business and revenue to drive growth.
• People-Centric Approach: Embrace a people-oriented mindset, embodying the team's commitment to going above and beyond to support our sales teams. Build trust and lasting relationships with Sales Executives.
These are some of the responsibilities you will have:
• Support enablement and mentorship of account executives on complex quotation management, processes, and systems
• Help translate the customers' business requirements into the right product offering (bill of materials), sizing, as well as terms & conditions
• Liaise with other SAP teams (i.e.: Deal desk, legal, etc.) when specialized support is needed to guarantee the right contract terms and customer experience
• Obtain all pre-approvals needed to guarantee a seamless and speedy quote approval process
• Create, manage and send quotes for approval
• Review order forms and contracts, and send to Account Executives, Partner or Customers as needed
• Adhere & advise on all SAP compliance rules, and country legal regulations

Experience and Language Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university, with preference for Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in enterprise software sales preferred (sales, sales development, sales operations, …)
• Knowledge of Cloud technology (SaaS, DaaS, PaaS) in B2B environments
• Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills (Project management experience is a plus).
• Keen to work on meaningful innovative projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills: Proactivity, problem-solver mind, team spirit, empathic.
• Good ability to communicate via different channel (email/Videos/Social media).
• Polished professionalism with above-average organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Strong presentation skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and Teams
