We are looking to setup a team of content moderators for a disinformation project lasting 3 months. The job is fully remote.
The goal of the project is to qualify the truthfulness of news shared according to the algorithms provided on the training. It will help to decrease the quantity of disinformation in the web.
Previous experience as content moderator on disinformation projects is not required but would be beneficial.
Having a background in journalism would be a plus.
Fluent Spanish and good English are a must.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review and evaluate online content to determine its veracity and qualify it according to the process established on the training;
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain consistency and quality in data labelling;
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the labelling process and guidelines.
**Qualifications**:
- Native in Spanish language;
- Good written and spoken English for training and internal communications;
- Educational background in a relevant field (e.g. communications, journalism, information science) preferred;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to evaluate the accuracy and veracity of online content;
- Strong research skills;
- Detail oriented;
- Good time management skills;
- Ideally, familiarity with the media landscape in Greece, different forms of misinformation/disinformation, including false news, propaganda;
- Excellent knowledge in current affairs, especially about political trends and other topics of importance online;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Social media community exposure and experience;
- Comfort with the internet, using computers and software tools.
