Roka is a contemporary Japanese robatayaki restaurant, celebrated for its dynamic open-grill cooking and vibrant atmosphere.Located in the Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, along the Balearic Island’s east coast, Roka Mallorca offers diners a seasonal, alfresco pop-up of lazy summer evenings, beautiful dishes, creative cocktails, and live DJs. Local ingredients are featured in Roka’s signature robatayaki cuisine to create a menu that can’t be experienced anywhere else.
Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintain sufficient mise en place levels to ensure smooth service flow, while focusing on minimizing waste
* Monitor the quality, consistency, appearance, and taste of all pastry products, delivering perfection in every dish
* Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas, ensuring compliance with Roka’s cleanliness and safety standards
* Maintain high personal hygiene and appearance standards
* Coach and mentor Pastry Commis Chefs, helping them develop their skills and align with Roka’s high standards of quality and consistency
