Job Role

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding sales channels, and developing strategic customer relationships within the assigned market. The role focuses on building sustainable distribution networks, identifying new business opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting the company’s long‑term commercial expansion objectives across industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Working closely with customers, distributors, channel partners, and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will lead market development initiatives while managing sales performance and commercial activities within the region. This position requires strong business development capabilities, market knowledge, and the ability to navigate complex B2B sales environments while supporting sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute regional sales and channel development strategies to support business growth and market expansion objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard distributors, channel partners, customers, and strategic business partners within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industrial enterprises, distributors, contractors, and commercial stakeholders.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer research to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision‑making.
- Drive customer acquisition activities and manage the full business development cycle from prospecting through commercial engagement.
- Support contract negotiations, commercial discussions, and partnership development initiatives to strengthen market presence.
- Evaluate partner performance, business potential, operational capabilities, and long‑term strategic fit.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective customer support, sales execution, and business development activities.
- Monitor sales performance, market developments, and customer requirements while providing regular commercial reports and business insights.
- Lead and support local sales teams where applicable to achieve regional business objectives and performance targets.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Industrial Management, Economics, International Business, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or commercial roles within manufacturing, industrial products, building materials, construction materials, mining, cement, metallurgy, paper, non‑ferrous metals, or related industries.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in channel development, distributor management, regional sales management, partner acquisition, or market expansion activities.
- Proven track record of developing customer networks, managing strategic accounts, and driving commercial growth within competitive B2B environments.
- Strong understanding of sales management, channel development, business negotiations, contract management, and customer relationship management.
- Experience evaluating distributors, partners, customers, and commercial opportunities based on business potential and market viability.
- Strong networking, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building capabilities across multiple levels of customer organizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and problem‑solving capabilities.Results‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and achieve business growth objectives.
- Experience managing or mentoring small sales teams is preferred.
- Comfortable with frequent business travel and direct customer engagement activities within the assigned market.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
