As Technical Lead for AI and Computer Vision, your mission will be to lead the technical strategy and ensure excellence in the development of advanced In Cabin Monitoring solutions. Your duties will include:
1. Providing technical leadership to the AI and Computer Vision development team, guiding complex decisions and ensuring the technical consistency of the project.
2. Defining and validating computer vision model architectures for tasks such as detection, classification, gaze tracking, behaviour analysis and other key system components.
3. Making strategic technical decisions on frameworks, models, training pipelines and inference processes, always focused on performance and quality.
4. Overseeing the preparation, annotation and quality of both synthetic and real datasets, ensuring their robustness for training and validation.
5. Optimise models for execution on embedded platforms, such as Jetson or other hardware architectures specific to the automotive sector.
6. Coordinate and prioritise the team's technical tasks, offering support and facilitating their professional growth.
7. Act as a technical reference point in the field of AI applied to automotive, providing vision, judgement and experience in a highly specialised environment.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for someone with a solid technical background and a deep understanding of developing AI solutions for the automotive industry. These are the key requirements:
8. Experience in real-world computer vision projects, ideally applied to production or industrial environments.
9. Practical experience in training, validating and deploying Deep Learning models for complex computer vision tasks.
10. Proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow (knowledge of Darknet will be valued).
11. Experience with state-of-the-art detection models, such as YOLO, Detectron or other equivalent architectures.
12. Solid knowledge of real-time image and video processing, optimisation and efficient inference pipelines.
13. Experience working in Linux environments and using GPUs for training and inference.
14. Previous experience acting as a technical reference or leading specialised development teams
15. Ability to analyse, decide and justify technical choices, maintaining the consistency and robustness of the proposed solutions.
