You will work closely together with departments such as B2B Architecture, EDI Developers and SMEs in other regions, offshore support teams, SAP SMEs, SAP Application Support, Network and Infrastructure teams, and European Customer Service departments.
All your colleagues are experienced, globally distributed, and technically strong.

THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE
As our EDI Subject Matter Expert, you are responsible for EDI enhancement delivery. You are responsible for the processing and implementation of enhancement and change requests for European EDI messages. You work as a senior SME within the iWay B2B middleware team, coordinating development, performing quality assurance, providing high‑level support, and collaborating closely with general IT and business stakeholders.
You will be reporting to B2B Manager, and you will manage:
EDI enhancements and changes
- Implement enhancement requests for European EDI messages
- Clarify detailed business and technical requirements
- Coordinate required SAP change requests where applicable
New partner implementations
- Implement new European EDI partner requests
- Define and validate technical requirements for new message flows
- Coordinate SAP‑related changes when required
Support and troubleshooting
- Provide 4th‑level support for complex EDI processing issues
- Use appropriate ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Collaborate with offshore support teams on complex incidents
Development oversight
- Coordinate offshore development activities when applicable
- Review deliverables, unit tests, and quality of implementations
- Prepare solutions for customer testing
Cross‑platform contribution
- Support non‑EDI iWay interface enhancements when capacity allows
