Responsibilities
* Migrate our systems to Windows 11 across Iberia laboratories.
* Support mandatory and optional software and firmware patches and upgrades.
* Discuss with hospital IT teams about cybersecurity and network connections to integrate our equipment into the hospital network.
* Configure and maintain remote platforms using VPNs and remote support tools.
* Provide direct support to internal and external customers and operators—troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Ensure consistent follow‑up to meet customer satisfaction and key performance indicators.
* Keep stakeholders informed and updated on migration progress.
* Support rolling out new proactive IT service tools and processes.
Qualifications
* University Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent vocational training (e.g., Intermediate Vocational Training in Microcomputer Systems and Networks).
* Vocational Specialization Course in Cybersecurity or certifications in Networks, Routing, Switching (e.g., CCNA) highly valued.
* Internships in the healthcare sector a plus.
* Ability to perform software updates, parameter validation, and verification, internet protocol configuration, wireless modem/routers setup, cloud systems and services, and cybersecurity.
* Basic knowledge of LIS/HIS configuration desirable.
* Knowledge and experience in Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
* Familiarity with processes and workflows in clinical analysis laboratories.
* Collaboration skills with hospital IT staff for remote software installation and configuration.
* Problem‑solving skills—remote and on‑site troubleshooting.
* Independence, priority management, multitasking, and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong analytical thinking, teamwork orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Passion for the healthcare sector and eagerness to learn every day.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese considered a plus.
Business Travel
Business travel (IBERIA) is expected (90%).
