Cloud Platform Technical Expert - Santander Digital Services
Location: Boadilla del Monte (Madrid), Spain
Responsibilities
* Attend to customers, understand their needs, offer solutions.
* Provide technical solution expertise in designing traditional and cloud architectures (compute, storage, backup, network).
* Lead technical solution development phases of the customer journey: PoT / PoC / Demo, ensuring cloud initiatives meet organization and customer needs.
* Review existing solutions, implement new services, or migrate solutions to the cloud.
* Create documentation and manage project schedules, status, resources.
* Conduct product evaluations and communicate best practices.
* Develop technical offers to implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solution deployments across systems, virtualization, networking, storage, and backup areas.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cloud Platform Technical Expert and in pre-sales roles.
* Experience designing, building, migrating, or transforming customer solutions to the cloud.
* Knowledge of cloud computing benefits, concepts, and principles.
* Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
* Experience in Agile ways of working.
* History of successful consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
* Strong teamwork and ability to support colleagues.
* Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
* Proficient in spoken and written English.
* Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience (desirable).
* Virtualization, storage or networking certifications (desirable).
* Experience with IaC languages such as Terraform or CloudFormation (desirable).
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Sonar, Jira, Confluence (desirable).
