Your Role
This role is a key position on the Business Development team responsible for driving revenue growth by building and managing strategic partnerships, identifying and vetting new business opportunities, and providing strategic direction for critical business lines. You will create and foster relationships with key stakeholders, identify and close new deals, and drive growth across the WebPros ecosystem.
You’ll thrive if you are a proactive, analytical self-starter who can navigate cross-functional initiatives and communicate with stakeholders across departments. The role operates in a fast-moving environment where initiative and clarity are essential.
Responsibilities
* Build and manage strategic partnerships and identify new business opportunities.
* Identify, vet, and close new deals; provide strategic direction for critical business lines.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal) to drive growth.
* Proactively analyze market and partner opportunities and translate insights into action.
Your Qualifications
Core Requirements
* Experience in a business development and partnerships ecosystem.
* Proven track record of closing complex new business and partnership deals.
* Experience in the SaaS, Domains, or hosting industry with understanding of subscription and partner-driven revenue models.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to align stakeholders.
* Experience in business and Go-To-Market (GTM) analytics around LTV, CAC, ecommerce, and Sales funnel analytics.
* Experience in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
* Executive presence with strong analytical, organizational, and partner management skills.
* Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity and action in fast-moving environments.
* Desire and knowledge of the evolving AI landscape with a pragmatic approach to AI strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
* Relevant degree in business fields or applied science.
* Prior experience in hosting, domain, or SaaS businesses.
Impact in the First 180 Days
30 Days: Onboard, familiarize with WebPros brands (cPanel, Plesk, WHMCS), and begin building relationships with key internal stakeholders.
60 Days: Take ownership of existing strategic partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and explore new revenue paths.
120 Days: Negotiate and close your first new business or partnership deal; provide strategic direction for a critical business line and present findings to senior leadership.
180 Days: Drive measurable revenue growth through new and existing partnerships (target: >$100K ARR). Lead a pragmatic AI adoption roadmap across GTM functions focusing on automation, personalization, and sales enablement.
How We Work
Team & Workflow: Individual contributor within the Business Development team, reporting to the VP, Business Development & Go-To-Market Strategy. Remote team with cross-department collaboration.
Collaboration & Ownership: Requires strong cross-functional leadership and change management with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Legal.
Work Processes: Typical week includes 20-30 meetings and substantial focused work, with regular updates to stakeholders. Rituals include daily stand-ups, weekly team meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
