This intermediate-level position offers the opportunity to work on one of the world's most successful tactical shooter franchises.Working under the guidance of the Lead Artist, you'll contribute to the visual excellence of Rainbow Six Siege by developing technically polished 3D assets that align with the game's distinctive visual direction and maintain the high standards expected by our integral player community.Main Responsibilities:Create visually and technically polished 3D assets that align with the game's visual directionWork under the guidance of the Lead artist and collaborate effectively with other 3D artists across the teamParticipate in regular art reviews and incorporate feedback to improve asset quality and consistencyUnderstand project limitations, milestones, risks, and adapt your work accordinglyMaintain and improve project documentation to support team workflowsQualifications+2 years of professional experience in 3D art production with demonstrated expertise in real-time 3D asset creation in a game studio or on video game projectsStrong knowledge of 3DSMax/Maya/Blender, Photoshop, ZBrush, and Substance PainterStrong knowledge of real-time modeling techniques (PBR Workflow, Normal Map Baking, UV Optimization, etc.)Solid portfolio showing 3D art skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativityExperience with both organic and hard-surface assetsProven experience in weapon modeling, working on military or tactical equipment assetsUnderstanding of the videogame pipeline including modeling, texturing, shading, and in-game setupGood communication skills, with proficiency in using English in a professional contextNice to Have:Experience with additional software tools like Marvelous Designer, Fibershop, RizomUV or PlasticityFamiliarity with tactical shooters and the Rainbow Six franchiseUnderstanding of e-sports visual requirements and constraintAdditional InformationFew words about Ubisoft Barcelona studio:The studio is located in one of the most popular urban area of Europe: Barcelona!
