We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Reliability Support Engineer to join our B2B SaaS company and resolve platform issues efficiently. With around 100 employees, our team is mainly based in Malaga, Spain, but we are incorporated in the US and the EU (with our top-corp registered in Delaware). Our Development team is based in Malaga, but if you prefer coding from home or another city, that’s perfectly fine!
What is Plytix?
Plytix PIM (Product Information Management) is a SaaS platform that helps our customers manage their product data, serving as the single source of truth for their product information.
Our platform enables collaborative product data management, integration with e-commerce shops, catalog creation, and more.

What’s the opportunity?
If you enjoy solving technical puzzles and helping others, this role is for you! You will dive into code, provide top-tier support, and ensure our clients receive excellent service. What will you be doing?
* Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, responding to incidents promptly
* Implement automation strategies for manual tasks
* Check logs and alerts regularly
* Develop integrations between tools like Hubspot / Asana and scripts to resolve known issues
* Help ensure SLAs are met
After 1 month:
You will familiarize yourself with our tools and processes, start coding, and learn our product features through small tasks, with support from our engineers and mentors.
After 3 months:
You’ll understand our product well enough to handle non-trivial issues independently, including diagnosing problems, automating processes, and documenting solutions.
6 months in:
You’ll be fully integrated, autonomous, and collaborating across departments to improve our system quality. You will confidently perform tasks in development and production environments.
Who will you be working with?
You’ll work closely with the Support manager on incident investigations, and collaborate with Customer Success and Development teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

We expect you to have:
* 2+ years of relevant experience
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced setting
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Good programming skills
* Understanding of web service metrics and logs
* Proficiency in Python (our backend language)
* Frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Experience with MongoDB / PostgreSQL
Nice to have:
* Elastic, Grafana / Prometheus, Redis, RabbitMQ
* Experience with Hubspot / Asana, AWS, K8s, Kong
