This role involves managing complex insurance debtor and creditor accounts in an international environment.You will primarily liaise with international and domestic customers, insurance intermediaries, and reinsurers to ensure the timely collection of premiums and recoveries.You will handle broker and reinsurer accounts, building effective relationships and working collaboratively with your credit control colleagues to achieve team goals. You will coordinate with underwriting, operations, and claims teams to resolve queries, utilizing your analytical, relationship management, and communication skills.You should have a keen interest in the complex structures of international insurance programs, including reinsurance, and a desire to develop your knowledge further.Key Responsibilities :
Reconcile debtor and creditor accounts, analyze differences, log queries, and monitor resolutions.Establish and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders such as Operations, Underwriting, and Claims.Achieve targets for gross and reinsurance debt and unallocated cash in terms of size, volume, and age.Manage routine requests for information, prioritizing and redirecting as needed.Communicate with finance colleagues and other teams to verify accuracy, obtain further information, and resolve queries.Follow credit control processes and contribute to maintaining up-to-date process documentation.Work within your authority levels and seek approvals proactively according to RSA policies on bad debt and write-offs.Issue and send monthly statements to brokers.Participate in projects and initiatives as required.Understand legal requirements, RSA policies, and broker TOBAs.Record data accurately and in a timely manner.Skills and Experience :
