Role & Team: Infovista Corporation is seeking a sales-driven individual with outstanding communication skills, excellent technical expertise, the ability to build relationships with customers, and experience in earning customers' trust in complex sales cycles. This position will challenge the successful candidate to excel in various areas and offers significant opportunities for reward and growth.
As the Account Director for Service Providers, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales in the region for the Global Network Product Line, enhancing current client relationships, and developing new business with prospective clients. The candidate should have a 'hunting' persona for new logos and expansions within existing client bases. This role requires leveraging a background in service assurance, network testing/optimizations, and other telecom technologies to establish credibility with existing customers, partners, and prospects.
The candidate will navigate within customers' organizations to reach key technical buyers and decision-makers, becoming their trusted advisor, and aim to grow the current footprint by driving innovation, automation, and value. They will work closely with customers and partners, influencing them and interfacing with Infovista’s Product Development and Professional/Technology Services organizations to ensure successful customer deployments. The role involves using sales experience to secure business in competitive situations, focusing on sales goals. Profile:
* Strong sales skills with a drive for results and targets.
* Experience in selling Service Assurance, Network Testing solutions, or other OSS solutions.
* Ability to develop key strategies focusing on territory and key accounts.
* Extensive industry experience and key relationships with C-Level and senior management.
* Strong communication and influence skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
* Understanding how technical sales influence business cases and coordinating internal resources to achieve business goals.
* Team-oriented selling, leveraging presales, product management, R&D, and professional services.
Technical Knowledge:
* Strong knowledge in Service Assurance, network testing, and OSS solutions and systems.
* Deep understanding of the CSP market in OSS, network engineering, optimization, and operations.
* Strategic thinking, rigorous planning, and ability to build strategic plans for complex deals.
* Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and vision.
* Ability to inspire and demonstrate charisma.
* Assertiveness in defending Infovista standards and interests.
* Prioritization and adaptability skills in a dynamic environment.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to drive projects to completion while managing multiple opportunities.
Experience required: 7+ years in building and managing customer or vendor relationships, including with senior executives.
* Proven hunter with a track record in selling Service Assurance, Network Testing, and OSS solutions.
* Strong software sales acumen.
* Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet quotas.
* Current relationships with senior leaders at CSPs such as Telefonica, Vodafone, Orange, etc.
* Willingness to travel up to 50%.
