Location/Division Specific Information: The Fisher Scientific Channel connects business and science as the single source for laboratory equipment, chemicals, instruments, life sciences reagents, and consumables. The role is remote, located in any of the 18 European countries where we operate, requiring fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English. You will work in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Discover Impactful Work! The Digital Account Manager will focus on growing the low-revenue customer base in Spain, joining a new team of Digital Account Managers and interns to drive growth across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and promote self-service on our website.
* Engage with high-potential customers via phone, video, and social media to drive revenue.
* Understand customer needs, assess sales potential, and determine support levels.
* Customize messaging based on industry challenges and business objectives.
* Guide customers on website usage for orders and inquiries.
* Build a network of customer contacts for marketing efforts.
* Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to prioritize customer outreach.
* Transfer customers requiring regular support to Inside and Field Sales teams, ensuring smooth handover.
* Onboard and support new customers’ eCommerce experience.
* Test new sales tactics, such as using LinkedIn for prospecting.
* Assist the eBusiness team in improving website customer experience.
* Maintain a sales pipeline in Salesforce to meet/exceed targets and optimize pricing for profitability.
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science or Business.
Experience: Customer interaction, relationship management, persistence, and prior sales/customer service experience beneficial.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Goal-oriented, excellent communicator, social media savvy, adaptable, entrepreneurial, fluent in Spanish and proficient in English, skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SFDC, willing to travel (~10%).
