About the role
The Digital Finance Transformation Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation and optimization of financial processes across Cintra’s portfolio, with a strong focus on value creation, process automation, and continuous improvement of financial systems. This position acts as a key liaison between corporate headquarters and the concession companies (toll road projects), ensuring that digital solutions and financial systems meet both global corporate requirements and the specific operational needs of each concession. The role reports to the Head of Digital Finance Transformation and is based in Madrid.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate digital transformation projects within the finance function, including process automation (RPA, Power Automate, UiPath, etc.), implementation of new platforms, and integration of financial systems.
2. Play a central role within Cintra in the SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA migration, ensuring the project meets business requirements, delivers value, and is aligned with both corporate and concession needs.
3. Analyse, redesign, and optimize end-to-end financial processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, etc.) to enhance efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
4. Act as the primary point of contact between corporate teams and concession companies, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration among local finance teams, IT, and corporate departments.
5. Oversee the deployment and support of financial systems and processes, ensuring alignment with corporate standards while adapting to the regulatory and operational specifics of each concession.
6. Drive the adoption of advanced reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, SAC, Qlikview, etc.), fostering a data-driven culture within the finance organization.
7. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, manage change initiatives, and provide training to finance teams.
8. Collaborate with IT, Data, AI and Business teams to define requirements, select technology solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems (SAP, Salesforce, Power BI, etc.).
9. Promote best practices and process standardization, facilitating knowledge sharing and the transfer of innovative solutions across the group’s companies.
10. Support the definition of the digital finance strategy, aligning transformation initiatives with business objectives and industry best practices.
11. Stay up to date with technological trends and best practices in finance digitalization, proactively proposing innovative initiatives.
12. Challenge and evaluate technology investment initiatives within Cintra, assessing their impact and profitability, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and value creation.
13. Coordinate and monitor technology projects, providing oversight and support throughout their lifecycle to maximize business impact and operational efficiency.
14. Support Cintra’s digital businesses, collaborating on the follow-up of the performance of the business and supporting the business navigate the corporate processes and procedures.

Qualifications

19. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
20. 6-8 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 3 years leading digital transformation, process automation, or financial systems implementation projects.
21. Hands-on experience with automation platforms (Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.) and reporting/analytics tools (Power BI, SAC, Qlikview).
22. Demonstrated experience with SAP platforms, especially SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation, is highly valued.
23. Experience with system integration (SAP, Salesforce, etc.), AI/LLMs enhanced solutions and project management is highly valued.
24. High proficiency in English and Spanish (C1-C2 required in both languages).
