WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Design experts within the AI, Insights & Solutions team. This team is part of Bain’s digital capabilities practice, which includes experts in analytics, engineering, product management, and design. In this multidisciplinary environment, you'll leverage deep technical expertise with business acumen to help clients tackle their most transformative challenges. You’ll work on integrated teams alongside our general consultants and clients to develop data-driven strategies and innovative solutions. Together, we create human-centric solutions that harness the power of data and artificial intelligence to drive competitive advantage for our clients. WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
You’ll contribute across every stage of the design lifecycle:
* Discovery – Help clients understand the business, user, and technology landscape to identify priorities and assess risks.
* Ideation – Apply design principles to explore innovative opportunities and refine focus areas.
* Design and Validate – Create concept experiences informed by user ethnography, testing for desirability, viability, and feasibility.
* Create and Launch – Build, test, and bring to life experiences, products, and services.
* Scale – Help clients grow and evolve new business models or offerings.
Designers at Bain are strategic thinkers and design leaders. They apply Human-Centered Design to reframe problems around user needs and use design research to shape innovative, actionable business opportunities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Lead the end-to-end strategic design process, translating insights into bold, innovative opportunities
* Conduct and synthesize qualitative research, creating key artifacts like personas, journey maps, and service blueprints
* Co-lead ideation workshops and bring business concepts to life through compelling storytelling and visual design
* Prototype across fidelities and run pilots to test desirability, feasibility, and viability
* Collaborate cross-functionally to manage workstreams and ensure high-impact project delivery
* Align multidisciplinary teams on priorities and facilitate productive, co-creative client engagements
* Contribute to Bain’s growth by mentoring teammates, supporting recruiting efforts, and advancing the AIS knowledge base
* Participate in marketing and brand-building activities within EMEA
ABOUT YOU
* 4–6 years of experience designing digital products, services, or customer experiences in roles such as Service Designer, CX Designer, or Digital Product Designer
* Deep understanding of Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, and Agile
* Skilled in strategic and service design, UX/UI, and research
* Experienced in tools like Figma, Miro, Webflow, Adobe CS, and emerging GenAI design platforms
* Strong communicator, presenter, and collaborator
* Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
* Fluent in Spanish and English
* Travel is required. This position requires regional travel away from your home office/primary working location. Travel frequency and destinations will vary based on project needs.
Bonus points if you also bring:
* Experience in consulting or client services
* Awareness of design’s impact on business strategy
* Interest in emerging practices like GenAI, behavioral design, or immersive experiences
