Job Description :
An Investment Associate provides financial analysis that is crucial for Cintra's decision-making. The primary tool is financial models that project project performance over time, helping identify the best investment opportunities. The role involves business development and portfolio management in Europe & New Markets, building and optimizing models, structuring analyses, and communicating findings and recommendations.
Responsibilities :
* Build and refine financial models in Excel tailored to each project's characteristics.
* Analyze new investment opportunities to determine optimal financial structures and financing mixes.
* Interpret complex financial data for project bids, transactions, and M&A activities.
* Present analyses and recommendations to senior management, aligning with investment goals.
* Prepare detailed documentation and presentations for investment approval processes.
* Create Project Information Memoranda for stakeholders like lenders and investors.
* Collaborate with project management and external advisors on various analyses and documentation.
* Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario testing, reporting findings to stakeholders.
* Review procurement and financial documents, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
* Participate in bid and project reviews, including pro forma preparations.
* Manage multiple projects at different stages, fostering a collaborative environment.
* Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) :

Education & Experience :
* At least 8 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis.
* Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is preferred.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish (C2 level) is required.
