Job Summary : This role requires a solution-focused Trade Marketing Coordinator to implement trade marketing strategies across all segments (Professional, Consumer, Pet / Animal) in the Iberia region, including Spain & Portugal. This role will support brand visibility, sales growth, and retailer partnerships within the market. Collaboration with the sales team, retail partners, and the marketing function is essential to ensure impactful, regionally tailored trade marketing initiatives aligned with brand and business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
* Trade Marketing Strategy : Assist the Senior Trade Marketing Manager in executing trade marketing strategies that align with brand objectives. Customize initiatives to local market needs while maintaining consistency with global brand guidelines.
* Retailer Engagement & Partnerships : Build and maintain relationships with sales teams and retail partners, including e-commerce platforms, wholesalers, and large retail chains. Collaborate on in-store and online campaigns, promotions, and activations to boost sales and visibility.
* In-Store & Online Activations : Implement in-store displays, point-of-sale materials, and digital assets to attract consumers and drive conversions. Work with retail partners to ensure successful execution of promotions and product launches.
* Sales Support : Keep trade marketing tools, presentations, and training materials up to date to assist the sales team in effectively positioning the brand both in-store and online.
* Promotions & Campaigns : Execute trade promotions, sampling programs, and retailer incentives to engage consumers and increase sales across the region.
* Event Management : Organize exhibitions, trade fairs, and support educational activities.
* Translations : Ensure the accuracy of translations for marketing materials.
* Performance Metrics & Reporting : Monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing programs.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with the EMEA trade marketing team, brand management, sales, digital, and product teams to execute initiatives seamlessly. Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and displays. Support regular updates with stakeholders.
Key Requirements :
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in consumer goods or personal care. Experience with hair clippers, grooming, or beauty brands is a plus.
* Good understanding of retail channels, including brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, and omni-channel strategies. Ability to manage relationships with retail partners.
* Strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously, on time and within budget.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Creative and innovative mindset to develop standout trade marketing materials.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% within the market area.
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
