We are looking for a
Business Controller based in Bilbao
to support our US branch, joining the company's
Financial Administration Department
.
Functions
Your duties will include managing the following administrative and financial activities:
* Opening logistics files
* Issuing invoices to customers
* Recording supplier invoices
* Monitoring project margins
* Active collaboration with the operations department.
* Coordination with Treasury for Payment Management
* Bank reconciliation
* Control of accounts receivable/payable
* Weekly/monthly cash flow budgets
* Control of structural expenses/overhead costs
* Recording of provisions and accruals
* Accounting and review of monthly closings
* Preparation of financial statements.
* Reconciliation of intercompany balances/transactions
* Coordination with external labor and tax advisors in the US
* Preparation of budgets and analysis of deviations
Requirements
* Degree in Business Administration and Management, Finance, and/or Accounting.
* English, spoken and written (advanced).
* Proven experience
in Administration, Finance, and/or Accounting (
minimum 1 year
).
- Experience
in these functions in the Logistics Sector will be
highly valued
.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
- Strong ability to synthesize information.
- Proactive person, with the ability to work in multicultural and/or international teams.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Immediate availability.
